Gary Snyder has done it again with his new 18k gold plated Flying Ant.  The product has been flying off the shelves in areas such as Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota.  The product's productivity has spurred a gold rush to the walleye's detriment.

Minnesota fishing Guide Tom Neustrom pushes for a state-wide guide fishing license during the MDNR roundtable.  With unsupported claims of out-of-state guides not paying taxes to outlandish fee proposals to deter non-state guides from taking clients on fishing trips in the state of Minnesota.

In the world of fishing, there are some jigs promoted as 100% pure tungsten.  Since tungsten jigs are an alloy it contains other metals like nickel, cobalt and copper.  This video shows a quick and easy demonstration to test jigs for tungsten purity.  This test works on all tungsten alloy cobonations except copper.

Understanding the mechanics of the pro-fishing pecking order is crucial to realizing the undisputed carnage pile of the lost and unsuccessful careers within the industry.  The ladder to success is riddled with broken rungs making the climb to the top a treacherous venture.  The former solid footings were not destroyed from the weight of the masses trying to climb up, but rather were deliberately sabotaged by a few already perched on top to prevent a natural "King of the Hill" toppling of their position from competition.
